This advertisement is promoting the restaurant and resort, Dom Francisco, specifically around Valentine's Day. I like the ad, however I do not think that the type justifies it. The type says, "Valentine's Day in Dom Francisco's restaurant."The type is much too small - it does not jump out at the audience, instead the audience must search for it. The grey color helps the type blend into the ad, which also makes it hard to read/ not very noticeable. The font is random, and does not connect with the Dom Francisco logo or the idea of Valentine's Day - the font does not seem to represent anything or have a specific purpose. I think the type should be a different font (perhaps a script which would connect to Valentine's Day or a font that corresponds to the logo); in a larger size; and in color (red would work because 1. it is the 2nd most appealing to the eye/noticed 2. it ties in with the logo for the restaurant and 3. the ad is around Valentine's Day).

I definately agree with Leah. I really think that the ad is effective in what they are trying to advertise. However, the small type and the way the color of the type fades because it is so small, does not lend itself to promote the restaurant. Instead, I think it just promotes a dinner date to anywhere for Valentine's Day.
